Car-Free Sunday

Car-Free Sunday is an annual event in Belgium that promotes sustainable mobility and allows citizens to reclaim the city streets. It traditionally takes place on a Sunday in September, usually coinciding with the end of the European Mobility Week.
While over 50 Belgian cities and municipalities organise a Car-Free Sunday, the event in Brussels is the largest, transforming the entire Brussels-Capital Region into the biggest car-free zone in Europe. The primary aim is to give residents a taste of a city with significantly less traffic, noise, and air pollution, and to encourage the use of active and sustainable modes of transport.

This is the perfect opportunity to cruise around and truly feel the flow without the noise and stress of traffic. Special group rides are organised and are open to all type of PEV riders. Since the entire city is closed to cars, it’s the safest and most enjoyable way to discover the full potential of the Onewheel™ :

  • Maximum safety: With the entire city focused on active mobility, the streets are filled with pedestrians and cyclists, not cars. Our coaches lead the pack, prioritizing safety and ensuring a fantastic experience for everyone.
  • Explore Like Never Before: We ride through main tunnels, down main arteries, and past iconic landmarks, giving you a unique perspective of the city.
  • Join the Pack: Connect with the community, meet new friends, and share the collective stoke of riding Brussels wide-open.
Roller Bike Parade

The Roller Bike Parade is an event open to all wheeled vehicles powered by muscle or electricity, held on Friday evenings during the summer months. The Parade features rollerblades, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, monowheels, e-skates and, of course, Onewheels.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with friends to share a sporting and musical moment (thanks to DJs on pick-ups) and to ride through the city on a specially secured route that’s free for the event’s participants. This event is organised in the presence of the police, who ensure the safety of participants and the smooth running of the parade.

Special Activities

European Onewheel League

Onewheel is not only an exhilarating activity but also a competitive sport established in Belgium in 2021. In 2023, the competition expanded to the European stage, with each season introducing new races across the continent and welcoming additional nations into the organisation.

The European One-Wheel League (EOL) brings together riders from across Europe to compete in events that celebrate speed, skill, agility, and the joy of riding together.

The EOL is at the forefront of developing and promoting one-wheel racing in Europe and it’s a privilege to contribute to its growth.

European Onewheel Championship

The European Onewheel Championship concludes each year in the Algarve region of Portugal, in the city of Albufeira in Portugal, at the renowned “Pista de Corta Mato das Açoteias” and surrounding area.

The Onewheel Algarve Race (OWAR) serves as the final race of the season and the Grand Final of the European One Wheel League. Only the highest-ranked riders from across Europe throughout the season qualify to compete for the distinguished title of European Champion.

In addition to the championship race, the Algarve hosts a range of competitive events, including the Infinity Race and the Surf&Dirt Race. The programme also features the contest for the title of ‘Best European Trail Rider‘ (BETR), concluding the sporting calendar in a region widely regarded as the "Land of the Trails".
